I don’t think it is. It’s good to teach the kids about nutrition, but I think it’s ridiculous to cut out the snacks and pop, especially at parties. What’s the harm of bringing a birthday cake to school on a child’s birthday to celebrate with their classmates? Why not have some chips at their Valentine Day party? It’s crazy. The foods that make the kids fat are the ones they’re eating at home and in fast food restaurants. Educate them, but let them be kids and have a piece of candy occasionally. What is your opinion?

hotandhealthyliving.com Moooom!!! Im HUNGRY!!! Im not sure how frequently other moms hear this but I hear it constantly. My nine year old son is super activeand super hungry. And, because I feed him a whole foods diet, he requires a large volume of food in order to get enough calories to meet his high energy requirements (by the way, whole foods take up a lot of bulk and space in your stomach, so they work mechanically to make you feel full fasterthis is great if you are trying to lose weight, but if you have a growing child to feed you need to make sure you give him or her a lot of food!) Anyway, kid snacks (adult snacks too!) need to be as jam packed with as many nutrients as possible. This is great in theory, but lets face it, nutrient-dense foods (think kale!) dont often appeal to kids. On a whim, I just decided to google healthy kids snacks to see what popped up and sure enough empty calorie processed foods such as pretzels, were right on top. Feeding your kids nutrient-poor foods (like pretzels!) are a surefire way to get them on the fast track to becoming overweight and simultaneously undernourished. You can absolutely meet a childs energy (calorie) requirements by feeding him spoonfuls of sugar (which is basically the nutrition pretzels provide) but dont you want your kid to also get the nutrition they need to support growth and a healthy immune system? Pastries for Parents

Well, not saying that I’ll have a baby NOW, and im not pregnant NOW, but I want a bellybutton ring, and I heard that if you get a bellybutton ring, it could mess up the chances of having a healthy baby. Is that true?

My uncle suffers from BPD. To be quite honest I felt sorry for his kids. They were constantly confused by his behavior. One min he would be all lovey dovey with them the next min he would abandoned them. He would blame them for his problems. His wife divorced him and won’t allow him to see his children. He couldn’t understand why his children don’t want to be bothered with him now (they’re in their teens). His youngest child has behavioral problems in school and is taking anti anxiety medication. All my uncle can think about is how everything affects him. God forbid he takes any responsibility for his actions.

Too many bad kids not being disciplined and it seems as if it may have something to do with the crime rates and drug use being on the rise.

Disagree!!!! – because i know Y!Answers is all about Promoting Tartism, but i sure learned alot from here, such as why the youth acts how they do!!!

Teachers and neighbors used to get a switch and hit the kids. Now, if a neighbor yells at your little “buddy” to stay off his property, yall sue him.
Timeout….what the He*l does that do to make a child stop acting out?
Conversing with a 2 year old is ridiculous!!
I am not talking about abuse (although some on Y!Answers seem to think CPS should be called if you yell at your kid). I am saying let them be aware who the He*l the parent is.

This is why the schools are a mess, kids do as they want, kids disrespect elders etc….
Why the lazy parenting? Why the Tartism?
Love is all good, the best. But damn, all i read on Y!Answers is basically saying no discipline, just hugs kisses and if need be, time out!! What BS! That is not love. You will see in the long run how hurtful it is. Whoop that As* when needed!!!!
Parent~~ what do you mean? The blog on shine? and what update it? (good answer too, by the way)
Thank you 29 weeks!! I appreciate that i am not the only one who thinks this way!
Notasupermom~~ Yes, everyone can see your not a super mom!! And am i ranting. Oh darn it, now i get reported. how sad. Get a life maybe and you wont feel the need to do so much Y!Answer Reporting. Have fun. Did you see my other question by the way? :)
